A story built from the inside out

_______
The Waist Comfort Band isn’t visible at first glance, and that’s exactly the point. A patented construction developed by GTA Moda, it introduces up to 6 cm of stretch into the waistband of both classic and contemporary trousers, maintaining structure and style, even with the most rigid fabrics. For a product that only reveals its value when worn, the brief was simple and complex at once: explain what can’t be seen.

From patent to precision

_______
Emo Design handled the entire process: from analysing the patent and writing the storyboard, to developing the 3D animation, rendering each element, and finalising the post-production. The video was designed to mirror the logic of the product: precise, minimal, and efficient. No unnecessary detail, no decorative flourishes. Just the mechanism, clearly shown and easy to grasp.

Clarity without compromise

Created entirely in-house, the animation uses CGI not for visual effect, but to maintain control over every aspect of the sequence. Camera angles, materials, lighting and movement were fine-tuned to support comprehension. The final video works across platforms—from product pages to trade fair screens—offering an intuitive introduction to an otherwise hidden invention.

More than tailoring

_______
This was our first time producing a video animation for trousers, and a technical one at that. But like the product it describes, the project is about refinement, not surface. The Waist Comfort Band deserved a film that explained its value before you ever try it on. Through 3D modelling, animation and rendering, the invention was given just that: form, logic, and a reason to try the trousers on.
