The Askoll XKP isn’t your average electric scooter. It’s sharp, agile, and Italian to its core, designed for the twists, turns, and stop-start rhythms of urban life. So when Askoll asked us to design the digital interface for its 5.5-inch colour display, we knew it needed to be more than just technically sound, it had to be effortless, confident, and a little bit charming.

Clear information, no distractions

_______
We focused on delivering clear, readable information that doesn’t distract, confuse, or feel like it belongs in a spaceship. Speed, battery, range, driving mode, everything is exactly where it should be, shown with visual hierarchy that respects the rider’s attention span (and the occasional pothole).
From the welcome screen to the transitions between ride modes, the interface carries the same spirit as the scooter itself: responsive, intelligent and easygoing. It’s built to keep up without showing off. No fuss, no flash, just an experience that feels natural and intuitive, even when the city isn’t.

A visual language with purpose

_______
Behind the scenes, we worked closely with the Askoll team to align the visual identity of the interface with the scooter’s overall design language. Bold shapes, crisp colours, and purposeful animations make the display feel modern and honest, like something you’d actually want to check at a red light.
Designing for two wheels might sound simple, but creating a digital companion that behaves intuitively in the real world is anything but. We’re proud to have supported Askoll in making the XKP not just a smarter scooter, but one that feels like it truly belongs on today’s roads, rain, shine, or espresso stop.
