The wood stove market today is characterized by a remarkable maturity, both in the aesthetic research and in the functionality of the product.

Many brands, especially from northern Europe, have led this market over time, suggesting product languages focused on cold and minimalist design that have emerged over the years. In the collective immagination this trend has become the benchmark for contemporary wood stoves.

At the same time there is a market in which the classic design dominates. This is a more traditional vision of the wood stove, in a few words: "the classic stove for grandma". Emo design together with MCZ, has decided to follow a new direction reviewing the classic in a contemporary way to suit the specific target that is looking for a "designed" product without sacrificing the iconic and historical values of the wood stove itself.

In this way it has been possible to distinguish the product from the competitors range, offering an innovative language that takes place among the contemporary values of the northern style and the more classic and conservative ones.

The model "Veld" synthesizes at the best this direction: the sheet, unquestioned leader of Nordic products, disappears leaving space for the iron and ceramic that cover the entire body. Classic details and finishes have been incorporated and "cleaned" to return to their essence. Forms, details and materials give the object a very "friendly" look, disguising the heating machine that is inside.

The spring handle becomes the distinctive feature of this reference to the past, an icon of old stoves that has been updated to become the detail that accumulates all products of the family MCZ classic wood stoves.
