During the product development phase, it is often necessary to reach a compromise between the "ideal" design solution, that comes from the hand of the designer, and the limits dictated by cost and manufacturing constraints. With the barrier "Snap" none of this happened, thanks to a tailor-made solution for Telcoma and a real dedication and craftsmanship in every detail.

Considering the market success of the transmitters Edge and Multicanale, Telcoma has further strengthened its range of products with the automatic barrier Snap. Sharp, cold and charismatic, this barrier follows the renewed product language of the company.

Looking at the barrier market it is easy to find "chaos", typical in the field of automation products: many brands very similar and few companies able to offer a distinct and recognizable range in terms of function and design language.

With the design of "Snap", Emo design wanted to maintain a strong technical character, while establishing clear and refined details, able to raise the perceived quality of the object. In a few words a perfect tool that communicates strength, reliability and durability, the keywords of the Telcoma brand. Enrich a product without adding anything superfluous was the main design driver. Our team worked on the choice of materials and processes that can accommodate this philosophy of the brand.

Snap represents the refined essence of the automatic barrier: the classic metal-box body gives way to a shape obtained from the joining of two steel plates, treated and painted with finishes that visually lighten the product.

The details of the union between the body and the bar becomes the face of the product, an element that brings together technical and aesthetics in a deep coherence with Telcoma identity. Finally, the flashing light, no longer separate from the object but perfectly integrated in a thin band, provides additional uniqueness and quality to a product, designed to get noticed.
