In the year of our 10th Anniversary we have been receiving so many gifts, but these two were really unexpected!
In fact, the bathroom system Frame we designed for Scarabeo Ceramiche and the filtering cooker hood Dama, designed for Falmec have respectively been awarded with the Best of Best at Iconic Awards - Innovative Architecture and the Best of Best agli Iconic Awards - Innovative Interiors.

These prestigious prizes were given by the German Design Council, the German most authoritative design association. We have already hung the certificates to the wall and we keep on celebrating :)

Big SEE is the event organised by Zavod Big in Lubjiana as part of the Month of Design, during which creatives, designers and companies from the South East European regions will share their creative thought during a meetings, discussions and performances representing the year's theme "Let's see the new world".

In relation to this vision of innovation and perspective of the new world, our products Brenta and Hung, designed for Neri and Scarabeo Ceramiche respectively, have been awarded with the BIG SEE award. The awarding ceremony will take place on 16th October and on the 18th we will have the opportunity to share our vision about "The New World" and our method of work during one of the Lectures 180°.

It's with great pleasure that we announce a new partnership with Miche, a well-known company in the Italian cycling tradition, which is an excellence in the production of components for bycicles. For them, we have designed the new graphics of the new product collection.

Miche will present itself with a new brand image, a new logo and the new payoff "We race together", that synthesises the racing spirit of the company but with an inclusivity vision.
Come to visit Miche's booth at Eurobike 2018, that will take place in Friedrichschafen from 8th to 10th July.

The great event of Salone del Mobile 2018 will take place from 17th to 22nd April in Milan.
Again this year we are proud to be part of it with many projects designed for the bathroom and kitchen market. At Salone del Bagno, Scarabeo Ceramiche (Hall 22 Stand E35) will present Glam, a wide range of washbasins, Frame, an extremely flexible solution to furnish the bathroom, and UP, the ceramic kitchen sink that reinterprets tradition.

At FTK, Falmec (Hall 13 A04-A06) will present Hive and Vega, cooker hoods which are two poles apart: the first expressive and with an industrial style, the second minimal and elegant, both of them equipped with the Falmec’s Circle Tech technology. Finally at Eurocucina, Ilve (Hall 11 – stand F22/F26) widen the offer of the Panoramagic range with new built-in owens and hobs with very high technological performances and perfectly aligned with the project identity. We will be waiting for you!

New products which are the outcomes of our collaborations with Rosa and Neri will be unveiled at Light+Building 2018, the biennal fair dedicated to the world of lighting that will take place from March, 18th to 23rd in Frankfurt.

After some years off, we have designed for Neri (Hall 5.0 Stand A40) the new Brenta collection, which comprises lighting and smart furniture solutions made of concrete. Rosa (Hall 5.0 Stand B60) will show the new led street lamps Snake and Beam, that complete the already wide collection of the company.

MCE, the reference exhibition in Europe for the heating/conditioning market, will take place from March, 13rd to16th in Milan. Taco Italia is going to present 3GS, the new circultator for heating systems and eLink, the application for smartphones, both designed by our studio.

Despite its extremely technical features we worked to make it more dynamic and appealing. Meanwhile, the eLink application has been designed to ease as much as possible the job of the expert during the installation or control phases.

On February 15th we invited some friends in our studio for the series of meetings named "Emo meets". For the occasion we invited Antonio Padovan to tell his story. He was born in Conegliano, (a town located closed to our city) and he is the film director (at his first experience) of the movie "Finché c’è Prosecco c’è speranza", a thriller movie based on the homonymous book written by Fulvio Ervas and set in the Prosecco hills, practically back here.
Antonio told us his story, starting from when he started his studies as an industrial designer in Padova at ScuolaItalianaDesign (where our Lukasz is also teaching), passing through his experience as an interior designer in New York, until the decision to give up paper, pen and rendering, to take up the camera and follow his true dream and his innate passion for the cinema by registering and attending the New York Film Academy.

It was a wonderful meeting that left us a lot of energy and charge for the future, reminding us once again how fundamental it is to give voice to our dreams by looking in every way and with every strength to make them come true, because dreams (even the most unthinkable) are a natural fuel for every daily challenge.

On the 23rd January the research project Maturolife, funded by European Commission, has officially begun. The project aims at the development of new products manufactured with innovative textiles that will ease everyday life for old people living in metropolitan areas. The project, that is lead by Coventry University, involves 20 partners from 9 countries and will last three years. We are very proud to be part of it!

Receiving a Good Design award is a great emotion... receiving five of them is real pride!
The Good Design was founded in 1950 by Chicago Athenaeum and represent one of the most prestigious design prize worlwide.

In 2017 it received subscriptions from 46 countries for a total amount of 900 products. Emo won its five awards with the kitchen Panoramagic by Ilve, the washbasins Cube, Hung and Mizu by Scarabeo Ceramiche and with the cooker hood Dama by Falmec.

It’s with great satisfaction that we announce the washbasin Hung designed for Scarabeo Ceramiche, has been awarded with the Archiproducts Design Awards 2017 in the category Bathroom. The product was selected within 600 projects for its concept, aesthetics, functionality and operability by a jury of 40 among the most influent international architecture firms, in synergy with Archiproducts Design Award Team.

At FSB fair, that will take place in Cologne from the 7th to the 10th November, Artisport will present Black 17, the new basketball system dedicated to 3x3 basketball.

A project that has consolidated our collaboration with the company and completes the path began with Red15 two years ago.

We will participate, for the fourth consecutive year, to SZIDF, the event organised by the Shenzhen Industrial Design Association that gather togheter under a single meeting designers, businessmans and students from all over the world.

We will present the products designed for our clients and, our Alessio, will drive the workshop "Future design products" that will allow him to explain our vision about innovation through some case histories.

HOST, that will take place in Milan from 20th to 24th October, is the major worldwide fair dedicated to hospitality. A very huge market that involved us in the development of many design solutions, all focused on professional products.

Together with Grandimpianti, Techfrost and Iglu we will present new interaction design projects while with Friulinox we worked on the restyling of their products’ user interface and we designed their new top range blast chillers line HiChef. Finally Ceado will unveil a new range of products dedicated to coffee lovers. There's a little something for everyone!

The Canton Fair is the main exhibition focused on import-export in China. For the first time we will participate to this event in the design area, with the aim to intensify our presence in China and to develop new and profitable colllaborations.

The company FLEXA will participate at the FESPA fair in Hamburg from the 8th to the 12th of May with a new brand identity, applied to all the communication tools but also to the machines of which we worked on the facelift and the restyling.
Through our strategic consultancy to the company and with the purpose of giving the brand a greater consistency, we have worked at the products facelift of the whole machines range and at the restyling of some of them.

Besides, we have generated a new man-machine interface, applied to the automatic cutter Miura. Its overall layout, thought by our studio in graphics and architecture, is designed to be aligned with the family feeling range and contributes to redefine the brand image. Moreover it makes the use of the machine easier and more effective.

This Red Dot is our 12th international prize! The family of washing machines equipped with the Wavy control has been selected by a jury of 40 independent designers in the category of professional machineries. This year the Red Dot Design Award has collected 5,500 projects from more that 54 countries.

We have been involved in the design of the washing machines facelift as well as in the man-machine interface installed on them. It's been a very long and articulated project, which lasted one year, during which we had a very close collaboration with the company and we managed to develop a structured but very easy to use interface.

We are super proud to announce that another prize has been added to our board!
The washbasin Hung, designed for Scarabeo Ceramiche, has been honoured with the iF Product Design Award 2017. The jury composed by 58 design professionals, has nominated it winner within the bathroom category.

Hung is not only characterised by the small dimensions that allow to position it in small spaces, but also by its functionality given by the integrated towel rack.

This year at ISH 2017 we are strengthening our collaboration with Scarabeo Ceramiche (Pav. 3.0 Booth C25) that presents our collection of mini washbasins to the retail distribution channel with the aim of supporting the success obtained during last year's Salone del Mobile and boosting the European market.

For MCZ Group, our studio has contributed to the rebranding strategy of the brand RED, through the design of the pellet stoves Camelia, Loto and Malva, dedicated to a more conservative target but curated in details and in the material’s manufacturing.

IMM is the leading fair for interiors in Germany, it will take place from the 16th to 22nd of January in Cologne. During this edition, the company ILVE, a historic Italian manufacturer in the field of professional kitchen appliances for domestic use, will present the new Panoramagic range of kitchen single-piece designed by our studio.
The project sees us involved in a wide program of redesign of the brand identity through the development of a new user interface for the ovens.

In the products of the Panoramagic range have been introduced some functional-aesthetical details useful to strenghten the brand values and to lauch it into a new rebranding project. The graphic interface applied in the built-in ovens and in the kitchen single-piecies has been generated by Emo to render the esperience of cooking extremely easy and intuitive but without renouncing to the products performance.

Medica, that will take place from the 14th to the 17th November in Dusseldorf, is the global most important trade fair for the medical market. This year we will operate for the first time into this market with a new client and a new project dedicated not only to rehabilitation but also to the professional sport.

The machines pulley/squat and leg extension Kineo by Globus, of which we made the restyling, can be inserted in different environments as the physiotherapist studio, the gym or the private house.

After the success obtained in the past years, we are going to participate to the fair SZIDF 2016 in Shenzhen with a booth (D28), where we will exhibit our products.
The event will take place from the 6th to the 8th November in Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Centre. It hosts design consultancies from all over the world and it schedules events and meetings to deepen and spread the design culture in China.

During the forum “Design connecting all possibilities”, Alessio will take the speech “How IoT is changing professional products” during which he will speak about Internet of Things through a case history of a project related to a professional product.

DIGITALmeet, in Padua from 20th to 23rd October, is the event, at its fourth edition, that wants to spread the culture about digital to everyone.
What is the best occasion to speak about Internet of Things and home-machine interaction?

Carlo took the chance to speak about it during his speech at the meeting called "Così digital come...design, manufacturing, e-commerce", during which he will show a case history about the challenge and the result of the realization of a professional product designed for ALI Group.

After some years we are back in Koln at Spoga+Gafa, the leading fair for outdoor and gardening, where we are participating thanks to a new partnership with Sarom. In fact we have designed and developed the new King range (su king range link al minisito), a small collection of extremely flexible and functional metal barbeques that will be unveiled from 04th to 06th September.

A project we have followed in every phase, from the design strategy to the final prototype, from engineering to the usage tests, that’s why we are so proud to finally present it together with the company.

From 11th to 15th June we will participate to Texcare, the international leading fair for professional laundry and cleaning that will take place in Frankfurt. On the occasion we unveil our new collaboration with Grandipianti (ALI Group) for which we have designed the new facelift for the new range of professional washing and drying machines and the new interface Wavy for the use and control of the products.

A prjoject that strenghten our capability in user interface design and unables us to develop a consistent graphic language dedicated to the brand Grandimpianti, that will exhibit a fully renewed range of products.

On 19th May we will participate to the seminar "Design dla Buziness" promoted by Wroclaw Design Week, that is part of a series of events related to design that will take place in Wroclaw, Poland from 18th to 22nd May.
The aim of the seminar is to tell the tangible benefits that markets and companies can achieve through design. Also it wants to show and tell managers what cooperating efficiently with designers means. 

The motto of the third edition is "International Design". Designers from Poland, Germany, Austria and Italy (our studio) have been invited to exchange their views and to present the different design methods they use in their economies.

Following the seminar there will be a design aperitivo at bistrot Charlotte in ulica Świętego Antoniego 2/4, where there is a small exhibition of products designed by Emo.

This year, in the occasion of the most renowed exhibition about furnishings, five of our new projects will be shown: a new collection of ceramic mini washbasins and two cooker hoods of elegant design. These are the result of our longlasting collaboration with Scarabeo and Falmec.

The washbasins Cube, Hang and Soft will be presented at the International Bathroom Exhibition at Scarabeo Ceramiche booth E28 E32 pav. 22. The cooker hoods Dama and Sophie will be exhibited at Falmec's booth C03 pav. 9 at FTK, Eurocucina.

In the occasion of China Refrigeration, the leading fair for AC systems and technologies in China, that will take place in Beijing from 7th to 9th April, Emo unveils the new collaboration with the Chinese giant MIDEA.

The new air conditioning ducted system, born from the partnership within Emo and MIDEA, will be presented at the company's booth.

From 13th to 18th March at Light+Building in Frankfurt two new collections of products we have designed for the Polish manufacturer Rosa will be presented.

Inside the exhibition area that we have designed for the company, there will be the new bollards "Edge" and "Dama" that express extreme consistency of the family feeling of Rosa’s products through elegant and gentle shapes. In order to widen the company’s variety, we’ve also designed a range of poles dedicated to the existing light modules that permit their installation into every environment.

At the Ambiente fair, that will take place in Frankfurt from the 12th to 16th of February, our first client from Hong Kong KOOL will present the new collection of cooking products designed by our studio.

Included in the new range are kitchen cutlery, a chopping board, a salt/pepper grinder, a candle holder and a timer enhance the producer’s capabilities. The material used have a specific reference to wood, that has been used in the kitchen since ancient times. Combining this with plastic and metal details it gives an innovative and modern appeal to those objects.

Participating at SZIDF last year gave us great satisfactions, that is why we have decided to attend once again. From 6th to 8th November we will have our personal stand at SZIDF 2015, the International Fair for Industrial Design of Shenzhen, China.

There we will also be the relator at the workshop "Innovating by honouring the past", during which we will guide the participants into a deep reflection of how design has innovated by looking back to the roots and how it will drive change in the future.

Artisport presents the first basketball system designed by Emo design at FSB 2015 in Cologne from 27th to 30th October. RED15 is the essence within design and functionality, a project born from the synergy within Emo and a company from our territory.

For the first time, we have been in charge of designing a representative object for this sport, the protagonist of the basketball court. It is a project that we have developed with committment, passion and fun. We are very proud about it!

The German Design Council has awarded us with the Iconic Awards for the projects Fuji and Mizu. The prize represent another seal of the partnership with Scarabeo Ceramiche that permits our projects to be known in the German market.

The Iconic Awards is the first international architecture and design competition that focuses on how these individual disciplines interact. It rewards visionary architecture, innovative products and sustainable communications for all fields of architecture, in five different categories. The award ceremony will take place in October at the Pinakothek der Moderne during the Expo Real trade fair.

The collections of faucets Tilt, Venus, Touch and Show, designed for Suerda and characterized by functional design thought for the Russian, European and Latin American markets, will be presented for the first time in China at Suerda's booth W2C45 at KBC 2015. The fair is dedicated to bathroom and kitchen and will take place in Shanghai from 3rd to 6th June.

At the booth W1A10, the Italian producer Scarabeo Ceramiche will show to the market professionals of Asia the washbasins Fuji, in the new built-in version, and Mizu, that reinterprets the washbasin architecture in an innovative manner.

A successful preview that confirms the worthwhile partnership with Scarabeo Ceramiche: the washbasin Mizu has been awarded with the Design Plus 2015. On 10th March at 14.00 in the foyer of Hall 4.2 we will receive the prize together with Scarabeo Ceramiche.

The Design Plus 2015, given by the German Design Council, is a seal of quality for products that set themselves apart by being precisely what ISH, the leading world’ trade fair for the bathroom experience, building, energy, air-conditioning and renewable energies stands for.
The washbasin Mizu will be awarded for its aesthetical and functional characteristics that rethink this product’s standards. Find out more about Mizu.

At the international fair for bathroom and renewable energies ISH in Frankfurt, our latest projects for the heating and bathroom market will be presented. At Scarabeo Ceramiche’s booth (Hall 3.0/C25) the innovative ceramic washbasin Mizu and Fuij, in the built-in version, will be presented.

The Chinese manufacturer Suerda (Hall 4.2/G63) will exhibit the new faucet collections Show, Tilt, Venus and Touch, thought for the European, Russian and Latin American markets.
At MCZ Group’s booth (Hall 9.2/F5) the minimalist stoves Klin, Aike and Tilda, inspired to the Nordic design, will be presented.
